The Fellowship of Chritian Artists is a new organization focused entirely on helping Christian Artists and Christian Artists helping one another. It was formed in June of 2009 when the Lord coaxed Jeannie Jones, Overseer of the organization, into putting in place specific ideas He gave her for the organization, including the Mission Statement, Guidelines, a Membership Form, and the "Artist Assistance Fund". Jeannie tried to run away from these ideas that flooded her mind, but, like Jonah, had a Mission to accomplish, that being to bring the Artists together as one, to increase the Power of the music, to serve Him better, to have them look out for one another.

Mission Statement- Philippians Chapter 2, Verse 1 through 11, NIV, (Joy in Serving) Imitating Christ's Humility- If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His Love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Guidelines-

(This information will be on website in alphabetical order, to be rotated weekly)
2. "Fellowship of Christian Artists" Business Cards -To be used to recruit new members, or to give to someone who needs an Artist for a date you are unable to fulfill. (Promoting one another)
3. A yearly concert where members perform. Will be a benefit concert for Artists. Love offering will be divided equally among those Artists participating, after 10 percent being tithed to the Artist Assistance Fund. Artist benefit concert date for 2011 will be Saturday, May 21. Please keep that date open. See Acts 4, Verse 24- "They lifted their voices , "All of one accord". (New King James Version) For clarification , read all of the 4th Chapter of Acts.
4. No conventions, no awards, no competition. However, sharing love and information is encouraged!
5. Monthly Spotlight Artist on website. Will be chosen alphabetically, by last name or group name. Will be listed as Artist of the Month. A whole page with Artist's picture and bio.
6. Anyone can join. The Lord forbids me to leave anyone out. We need to help one another. All of us.
7. We will help each other, invite each other for concerts at times, if feasible, promote each other. (Please read Mission Statement above, Philippians Chapter 2, Verses 1-11. It will clarify)
8. Artist Assistance Account:
To be accumulated and used for needs of the Artists and/or or their Ministries.
Undetermined how funding will be accumulated. Probably various donations, to be used as the Lord leads.
9. Overseer will not accept or keep any proceeds that may accumulate. This is only for the benefit of the Artists.
10. Membership fee will be $20.00 per year. Any and all funds will go directly to the Artist Assistance Fund.

Fill out and return to us with your check for $20.00, along with required information) If you don't have all of the required items at the present time, send them when you can. The more information you have on the site, the better for your Ministry. This website will be used as a referral tool for the Artists, to help those looking for Gospel Artists for Concerts, etc.. It will be advertised, and Artists are expected to refer those to the website for whom they are unable to fulfill obligations due to being already scheduled, thus helping fellow members who will in turn help in the same way. Plans are underway for bi-monthly prayer and fellowship gatherings for members. Time and place TBA by email or phone. Once we receive your yearly membership fee, you will receive a Certificate of Membership from us.
Reminder: In order to be a member of the "Fellowship of Christian Artists", you must lead a life according to the Word of God. If it is found that you aren't you will be removed from the website.
Artist Assistance Fund- The Artist Assistance Fund is a savings fund for Artists who have need. We welcome donations to this fund from anyone who has a heart for the Artists and their music, and what they are doing for our Lord. Any and all funding will be deposited to the Artist Assistance Fund. Whenever an Artist is in need, that need should be made known to us. At that time it will be decided how we can help, according to the funds we have available. We welcome donations from fellow artists when they are able.
